ORDINANCE.NO. '74- 3
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING.THE BUDGET TO
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD
BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,_1975, AND.ENDING SEPTEM-
BER 30, 1976, BY TRANSFERRING'THE SUM OF
$6,000.00 from EXCESS REVENUES TO ACCOUNT
NUMBER 79-415 FOR THE PAYMENT OF CONSULTING :.
FEES FOR THE STUDY OF THE RATE INCREASE
REQUEST OF ENTEX, INC.; AND.AUTHORIZING THE
EMPLOYMENT OF TOUCHE ROSS & COMPANY FOR CON-
SULTING SERVICES REGARDING THE APPLICATION
FOR RATE INCREASE OF ENTEX, INC.
WHEREAS, Entex, Inc. has filed an application for rate
increase in the City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to retain the firm of
Touche Ross & Company to provide consulting services with regard
to said application; and,
WHEREAS, Entex, Inc. has agreedto reimburse the City
up to $6,000.00 for the cost of said services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal
period beginning October 1, 1975 and ending September 30, 1976,
be, and the same is hereby amended, by transferring $6,000 from
Excess Revenues to Account 79-415 for the payment of consulting
fees regarding the application for rate increase by Entex, Inc.
Section 2.
That the City Manager or City .Attorney are hereby autho-
rized to:retain the firm of Touche Ross & Company to provide
consulting services regarding the requested rate increase of
Entex, Inc.
