ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDON-
ING A TWENTY FOOT BY THREE HUNDRED FOOT (20'
X 3001) ALLEY EASEMENT, PROVIDING THAT A
GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENT IS RETAINED, IN THE
VAN WORMER ADDITION IN BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain twenty foot by three hundred foot (20' X 300')
alley easement described as follows:
THAT certain alley, being twenty feet by
three hundred feet (20' X 300'), and run-
ning parallel to Bowie Street and Croc-
kett Street, and lying between Park Street
and Neches Street, in Block 17, Van Wormer
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County.' Texas;
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by"law; providing, however, that the
hereinabove described tract of land is expressly retained by The
City of Beaumont for general. utility purposes only, it being the in-
tent of this ordinance to abandon said tract of land as an alley but
to retain the said tract for general utility purposes only; title to
such property, other than the rights retained by The City of Beaumont
herein, shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled
thereto, as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of The City of Beaumont this the
