ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 23, 1975,
FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1975
AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1976, BY TRANSFERRING
$62,500.00 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED FUND_BALANCES.IN
THE FLEET MAINTENANCE FUND TO FLEET MAINTENANCE
FUD ACCOUNT NO. 98-503.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Beaumont has recommended
the transfer of $62,500.00 from unappropriated fund balances in the Fleet Main-
tenance Fund to Fleet Maintenance Fund Account No. 98-503 to cover the cost of
purchasing necessary vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the necessity for the transfer from
the unappropriated fund balance constitutes a condition which creates a case
of established emergency and that the recommendation of the City Manager
should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the budget of the City of Beaumont, adopted on September 23, 1975, for the
fiscal period beginning October 1, 1975, and ending September 30, 1976, be and
the same is hereby, amended by transferring $.62,500.00 from unappropriated fund
balances of the Fleet Maintenance Fund to Fleet Maintenance Account No. 98-503.
