ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDON-
ING A FIVE FOOT (5') STREET LIGHT EASEMENT
IN LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK 6, MANION OAKS SUB-
DIVISION, SECTION 5, IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN,
AND ACCEPTANCE OF A NEW EASEMENT IN LIEU
THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT that portion of a certain street light easement described as
follows:
BEING an easement five feet (5') in width
and being located 2.5 feet on either side
of the boundary between -Lots 3 and4,', Block
6, Manion Oaks Subdivision, Section 5, in
the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, the entire length of the said boun-
dary between Lots 3 and 4;
,be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons
entitled thereto, as provided by law, and that The City of Beaumont
hereby relinquishes any and all rights, title and interest it had or
may have in and to such easement.
Section 2.
THAT in lieu of the street light easement hereinabove vacated and
abandoned, The City of Beaumont accepts for and in behalf of the citi-
zenry of The City of Beaumont that certain street light easement given
and granted to The City of Beaumont by an instrument dated November 13,
1975, Nichols Development Company of Beaumont, Texas, acting as Grantor.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
