ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 23,
1975, FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING OCTOBER
1, 1975 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1976, BY
TRANSFERRING $14,008.00 FROM RETAINED EARNINGS
ACCOUNT NO. 3000 TO PRO RATA CONSTRUCTION AC-
COUNT NO. 2302.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Beaumont has recom-
mended the transfer of $14,008.00 from Retained Earnings Account No.
3000 of the City of Beaumont to cover the cost of the City's share
to install sewer extensions to serve the west end of Gross Street
and two.old houses on Calhoun Street'in Gulf Terrace, and an exten-
sion along U. S..69 on the east side between Lawrence Drive and LNVA
Canal to serve two existing businesses and a skating rink.nearing
completion; and,
WHEREAS 'the City Council finds the necessity for the transfer
from the retained earnings account constitutes a condition which creates
a case of established emergency and that the recommendation of the City
Manager should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont, adopted on September
23, 1975, for the fiscal period beginning October 1, 1975, and ending
September 30, 1976, be and the same is hereby, amended by transferring
$14,008.00 from Retained Earnings Account No. 3000 to Pro Rata Con-
struction Account No. 2302.
