ORDINANCE NO. 7 tS_ -,�Q
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A LICENSE TO SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE
COMPANY AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND
FUEL TANKS IN AN ALLEY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
1.
That the City Manager of the City of Beaumont is hereby autho-
rized to execute a license granting to Southwestern Bell Telephone
Company the right under the conditions outlined in said license to in-
stall in the alley between Pearl and Main Streets, south of and parallel
to Broadway Street, certain underground fuel tanks.
2.
This ordinance shall operate as an,exception to the ordinances
of the City of Beaumont and the Fire Code of the City of Beaumont.
3.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase .of
this ordinance or the application of same to a particular set of persons
or circumstances should for any reason be held to be invalid., such inva-
lidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of,this ordinance,
and to such end the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
4.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
