ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A TWENTY FOOT (20') 'BY THREE HUNDRED FOOT
(300') ALLEY EASEMENT,"PROVIDING THAT A GEN-
ERAL UTILITY EASEMENT IS RETAINED, IN THE
PARKDALE ADDITION IN BEAUMONT,.JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
THAT that certain twenty foot (20') by three hundred foot
(3001) alley easement described as follows:
BEING a twenty foot (20') wide alley lying
between Third Street and Fourth Street, said
alley abutting Lots One through Six (176) on
the North and abutting Lots Seven through
Twelve (7-12) on the South of the Parkdale
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, as per,map or plat of said
Addition filed of Record in the Deed Records
of Jefferson County, Texas;
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that
title to such property shall revert to and become the property
of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law; providing,
however, that the hereinabove described tract of land is ex-
pressly retained by the City of Beaumont for general utility
purposes only, it being the intent of this Ordinance to abandon
said tract of land as an alley but to retain the said tract
for general utility purposes only; title to such property,
other than the rights retained by the City of Beaumont herein,
shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled
thereto, as provided by law.
