ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 24,
1974, FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING OCTOBER
1, 1974 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1975,'TRANS-
FERRING THE SUM OF $65,000 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED
RESERVES TO FLEET MAINTENANCE FUND ACCOUNT NO.
503.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the transfer of cer-
tain unappropriated reserves to the Fleet Maintenance Fund for the pur-
chase of a 1,250 GPM Pumper for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the needs for this transfer
constitutes an unforseen condition and creates a case of grave public
necessity and that the recommendation of the City Manager should be ap-
proved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:

That the budget of the City of Beaumont,, adopted on September
243% 1974, for the fiscal period beginning October 1, 1974, and ending
September 30, 1975, be and the same is hereby amended by transferring
$653,000 from unappropriated reserves to the Fleet Maintenance Fund Ac-
count No. 503.
