Entitled an ordinance apportioning the tax of .
fifty-two (.52�.) cents on each one hundred dollars valuation
of all taxable property within the limits of the City of Beau-
mont, Texas, heretofore,levied and ordered to -be collected
by an ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Beau-
mont, on the �.?� day of A. D. (q!(, .and which or-
dinance is recorded in'.Book No pageW of the
Ordinances of said city.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C OUTIC IL OF THF CITY OF B F.AUMOITT :
Section 1.
That the:tax of fifty-two (.52X) cents on each one
hundred dollars valuation of all taxable -,yoperty within the
limits of the City of Beaumont, as levied and ordered collected
by an ordinance pass -ed -by the City Council of the City of Beau -
wont .on the a-�--e day of A. D., t r((( be -and the
same is hereby apportioned among the various interest and bond. --sinking
funds as follows:
To the interest and sinking furA of the water works and street
paving bonds of 1898, eight and five tenths mills (.0085).'
To the interest and sinking fund of Refunding bonds of
1899, April lst, eight and five tenths (.0085) mills.
To the interest and sinking fund of Funding bonds of
August 5th, 189.9, eight and five tenths (.0085) mills.
To the interest and sinking fund of Funding bonds of
December 1st, 1902, eight and five tenths (.0085) Mills'*
To the interest and sinking fund of Sewerage bonds of
date, June lst, 1901, three and nine tenths (.039) cents.
To the interest a.nd , s inking fund of Sewerage bonds
dated December lst, 1902, three (.03) cents.
To the interest and sinking fund of Sewerage bonds, dated
January lst, 1905, eight and five tenths (.0085) mills.
To the interest and sinking fund of Sewerage bonds, dated
December lst, 1906. -three and nine tenths (.039) cents.
To the interest and sinking fund of Sewerage Bonds, dated

Section 2.
That- the, City 'Tax Assessor and Collector is hereby
instrueted,to pro rate the said sum of fifty-two cents according to
the provisions- of this , ordinance, , and t o so prepare his'' statement
and reports to, the Cite Treasurer,that said 'officer may be able,
to placse all oollecti-ons-- made- u3fder said 'taY to the 'credit' of the
properfand, and the same shall not be diverted or used for. any
other purpose. _
Section 3.
That , all 'ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in froce ;from and after -its final' passage,
and 'approval by the mayorq and lazy.fal publication..
