That tax so levied and assessed shall bedome
due and payable upon the completion of the paving upon which the
portion of said streets --on which -tats, --parts, of ,lots,.. blocks or:.,
tacts of land front or abut or front„
Seat ion 3.
That all the cost. of grading and paving that po,r-
tion of Main Street and Forsythe to a-nd across 'We shin gton Street
between the 'rails of the Texas & New Orleans Railway ,Company and
a space extending. twenty-four, inches beyond the outer edge
of the rails. of said company 'shall be borne by the said, Texas
& New Orl eans Ra i w' ay, Company and such cost of sa.d improvements
are hereby, assessed against the Texas & ?rew Oileans Railway Com-

this ordinance. Provided such work.-ohall be done in accordance
with the Cit; Ordinances-,regula ing the construction of railways
in the streets of .the City of; Beaumon t, and the,paving of such -

shall be borne by said Texarkana & Fort Smith , Ra ilway ' Company .
and 'shall,be collecte'.d- -as other assessments levied under this
.ordinance. Provided such work shall be done .in accordance with
the City Ordinances regulating the construction',of railroad
tracks in thestreets traversed by same.
