BE IT ORDAINM BY THE C ITY COUNCIL OF THE' G ITY,t 02 BEAUKONT: `
Section 1.
That Chapter 30, Article 3849 Se6t6n2, Revised
Code ' of Ordinances of the City of-Beaunorit 'be amended so that it
shall hereafter read, as - f ollows:

'.Section 2. As' soon as practicable .after, the first

the Council Chamber of. the City',Hall, andthe -City Tax. Assessor and
Collector shall deliver to them the tax' sheets;:grepare'd by him,
and they shall proceed ;in. the discharge• of thei duties in the
manner provided by the Charter- of the City of Beaumont, and said
Board shall ,receive the sum of $5.00 f or, each day. they shall be
engaged.. in their labors, 'which sum sha ll not' be paid until the
completion 'of their work.
Section 2e
This ordinance shall go into effect and bei in full
