ORDINANCE NO. 74-30
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING TWO
FIVE FOOT (5') WIDE STREET LIGHT -EASEMENTS IN
WASHINGTON -MANOR ADDITION, UNIT THREE (3), AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND ACCEPTANCE OF TWO FIVE FOOT
(51) WIDE EASEMENTS IN SAID ADDITION IN LIEU
THEREOF, ALSO AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,,TEXAS:
That the two (2) hereinafter described street light easements
in the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, be and the same are
hereby, vacated and abandoned, said street light easements being
described as follows, to -wit:
BEING two and one-half .feet (22') on either side
of a centerline located along the common lot.,,line
of Lots 9 and 10 of Block 7 in the Washington Manor
Addition, Unit 3, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
awl a second easement being two and one-half feet
(2-'2') on either side of a centerline located along
the common lot line of Lots 3 and 4 of Block 8,
of said Addition, of said City, County and State.,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the two (2) hereinafter described street light easements
dated February 8, 1974, dedicated by Beaumont Credit Corporation,
be, and the same are hereby, in all things accepted -by the City of
Beaumont in lieu of the two (2) street light easements hereinabove
abandoned, said easements being described as follows; to -wit:
BEING two and one-half f`eet'= (2 2' ) on either side
of a centerline located sixteen and five tenths feet
West of and parallel with the common lot
line of.Lots 9 and 10 of Block 7 of the Washington
Manor Addition, Unit 3, Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, and a second easement being two and one-half
feet (22') on either side of a centerline located
twenty-five feet (25') West of and parallel with the
common lot line of Lots 4 and 5 of Block 8 of said
Addition, in said City,'County and State.
