ORDINANCE NO.' 74_1.9.
ENTITLED AN.ORDINANCE AMENDING BUDGET OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 18, 1973, FOR
THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1973, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1974, BY APPROPRIATING THE
SUM OF $60,000 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED RESERVES TO
ACCOUNT 79-419 TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO OFFSET THE
OPERATING DEFICIT OF THE TRANSIT SYSTEM AS OF
SEPTEMBER 303, 1973; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
S'ect'iori 1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont adopted on the 18th
day of September, 1973 for the fiscal period beginning October 1,
1973, and ending September 30, 1974, be amended by increasing the
appropriation to Account No. 79-419, by the sum of $60,000, said
sum of $60,000 to be appropriated from unappropriated reserves.
Sect1ori '2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portion of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
'Secti'on 3.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
