ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING
A TEN (10') FOOT WIDE ALLEY ON THE WEST END
OF LOTS 8, 9 AND 10 ABUTTING LOT 7, BLOCK 38,
IN THE LAMAR ADDITION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that certain ten (10') foot wide alley, as hereinafter
described, in The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, said alley
to be abandoned being described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the northeast
corner of Lot 7, Block 38, of Lamar
Addition;
THENCE south along the eastern boundary
of Lot 7 a distance of one hundred thir-
ty (1301) feet to the common point in
the boundaries of Lots 7, 10, 14 and 15
in the said Block 38;
THENCE east along the common boundary of
Lots 10 and 14.a distance of ten (10')
feet;
THENCE north along a line parellel to
and ten (10') feet to the east of the
eastern boundary of Lot 7 a distance of
one hundred thirty (130') feet to a
point in the northern boundary of Lot 8;
THENCE west along the northern boundary
of Lot 8 a distance of ten (10') feet to
the PLACE OF BEGINNING;
