APPROPRIATION -ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL
FUND AVAILABLE, -NOT OTHERWISE.APPROPRIATED, THE SUM
OF $120,000 -TO PAY.PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST MATURITIES
ON CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, SANITARY.SEWER-IMPROVEMENT
BONDS, SERIES 1952, IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000,000 ISSUED
BY AN ORDINANCE ENACTED OCTOBER 15, 1952, WHICH MATURI-
TIES WILL BE DUE ON OCTOBER 15, 1953, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$56,000 PRINCIPAL AND $62,852.52 INTEREST; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, did,
on the 14th day of October, 1952, enact an ordinance issuing two million
dollars ($2,000,000) CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT.
BONDS, SERIES 1952, which bonds are to mature serially in accordance with
the ordinance issuing the same, the first maturities being $56,000 principal
amount, and $62,852.50 interest, maturing on October 15, 1953, and it is
deemed advisable and necessary to appropriate from the General Fund on hand
not otherwise appropriated the sum of $120,000 to pay said maturities; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, finds
and determines and so certifies, that said amount is on hand in the General
Fund not otherwise appropriated and is available for said purpose; now,
therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City
of Beaumont, Texas, on hand not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $120,000
to pay the principal and interest maturities due on $2,000,000 City of
Beaumont, Texas, Sanitary Sewer Improvement Bonds, Series 1952, issued by
an ordinance enacted on the 14th day of October, 1952, which maturities
will be due on October 15, 1953, being $56,000 principal and $62,852.50
interest, and said fund is hereby set aside as a special fund to be known
as. "Interest and Sinking Fund Account for the Payment of Maturies of
$2,000,000 CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT -BONDS, SERIES
1952", and shall be applied only to said purpose.

SECTION 2
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict -herewith
are hereby repealed.
