ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE VACATING
AND CLOSING OF LAVACA STREET (SOMETIMES CALLED
RESERVOIR STREET) RUNNING BETWEEN BLOCKS 1 AND
2, IN THE COLLIER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAU—
MONT, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont, Texas, is the owner of all
the property abutting Lavaca Street (sometimes called Reservoir
Street) running between Blocks 1 and 2 in the Collier Addition
to the City of Beaumont, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is
to the best interest of the City of Beaumont and benefit to the
public that said street be closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAU—
MONT, TEXAS:
That Lavaca Street (sometimes called Reservoir Street) running
between Blocks 1 and 2, in the Collier Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Texas, be and the same is hereby, authorized to be
vacated and closed, and that the title to said vacated and closed
street shall revert to and become the property of the parties
entitled thereto, as provided by law.

July, A.D. 1952.
