AN ORDINANCE
ENTITLED -AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE A LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, FOR THE LEASE OF
THREE (3) TRACTS OF LAND COMPRISING WAR HOUS-
ING PROJECT DESIGNATED AS TEX-416$1, TOGETHER
WITH IMPROVEMENTS THEREON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Otho Plummer, Mayor of The City of Beaumont, be, and
he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf of The City
of Beaumont a lease agreement between The City of Beaumont
and the Housing Authority of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
for the lease of three (3) tracts of land comprising the
War Housing Project designated as TEX-116$1, together with
all:;_improvements thereon, consisting of -one hundred eighty-
six (186) dwelling units, save and except the commercial
property and building situated on a part of Block Seven
(7) of the McFaddin Heights Addition in said project, for
a -term of three (3) years, beginning on the lst day of Feb-
ruary, 1952; and the City Clerk is authorized to attest to
same and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
PASSED by the City Council this aa. -P day of February,
A. D. 1952.
