RIGHT OF WAY TO THE SOUTH LII@E OF DOLLINGER ROAD, AND ON DOLLINGER, ROAD FROM THE EAST -LINE Or- 7TH STREET WEST 555.5 FT. IN TEE CITY OF BE0140NT, TEXAS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the work of improving the following described streets in the City of Beaumont, Texas, to wit: 6" Reinforced concrete Pavement on 7th Street from the north line of the S. & E. T. right of jyay to the south line of Dollinger Road, and on Dollinger Road from the east line of 7th Street viest 555.5 ft. has been completed by Shadowlavni, Inc., and the City Engineer of the City of Beaumont having examined said work and having found that said work has been completed in a proper and rigaly satisfactory manner and in full ac- cordance with the minimum standard requirements of the City of Beaumont for the type of construction made thereon_, same being the construction of 6" reinforced concrete pavement together with necessary appurtenances to such P pe of construction, and the said City Engineer having approved and having recommended the acceptance of such work by the City Council of the City of Beaumont and the assumption by the City of Beaumont of the obli- gation of maintenance of said streets within the limits designated accord- ing to the standards prescribed for rw-intenance of other dedicated streets in the City of Beaumont, and said work and improvements having been examined and found by the Mayor and the City Council of said City of Beaumont to have been performed and completed in full compliance with the minimum standard requirements of the City of Beaumont for such construction, and said improve- ments are hereby accepted and received by said City Council of the City of Beaumont, and said City Council of the City of Beaumont acting for the City of Beaumont hereby assumes the obligation of maintaining said streets within the limits designated according to the standards prescribed for maintenance of other dedicated streets in the City of Beaumont. D., 1950. - MAY 0R THE STATE OF TEXAS : COUNTY OF JEFFERSON 286067 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT The City of Beaumont, Texas, acting by and through its duly elected and constituted City Council, has by ordinance duly enacted on the 12th day of September, 1950, determined the neces— sity for, and ordered, the permanent improvement of the hereinafter named street, or portion thereof, within the limits herein below defined, within The City of Beaumont, Texas, in the manner and with the materials as are provided for in the Plans and Specifications for said improvements prepared, to to be prepared, by the City En- gineer and as approved and adopted by said City Council, said street to be improved being described as follows, to wit: Seventh Street from Evalon Street to the south line of the present S. & E. T. Rail— road Company right of way. That the City Ordinance above identified expressly provides that a portion of the cost of said improvements shall be paid by, and specially assessed against, the property abutting upon said street within the limits above defined, and the real and true owners thereof, and that such portion of said cost so assessed shall be secured by a First and Superior Special Assessment Lien against said abutting properties and a personal claim of liability against the respective real and true owners thereof. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, The City of Beaumont, Texas, has caused this Notice to be executed on its behalf by its City Manager and attested by its City Clerk pursuant to -the terms of said ordinance on this the /2t4 day of September, A. I TY O'F B AU IN4 0 X r' S1k � T 1 ( Tki n etIW1,m})'1)I September 5, 1950 To the Mayor and City Council City of Beaumont Beaumont, Texas Gentlemen: I wish to inform you that Shadowlawn, Inc., has completed all of the work connected with improving the Streets hereinafter named in full accor— dance with the minimum standard requirements of the City of Beaumont: SEMTH STREET, from the North line of the S. & E. T. RR. R/W to the South line of Dollin.ger Road; and DCLLINGER ROAD, from the East line of Seventh.Street westward five hundred fifty-five and fifty—five hundredths (555.55) feet. Both of said streets named hereinabove which have` -been improved within the limits designated are located-within.'the City Limits of the City of Beaumont and in the area of tte construction of six (6) inches reinforced Portland Cement Concrete type of pavement together with necessary appurtenances to such type'of construction. I have examined the work done and find that the Contractor, Shadowlawn, Inc., has completed the work in a proper and highly satis— factory manner. Therefore, I recommend that the City,Councl,accept and receive this work and assume the obligation of maintaining said streets within the limits designated according to the standards prescribed for maintenance of other dedicated streets in the City of Beaumont.
