ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFI-
CIALS.OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT A -QUIT-
CLAIM DEED CONVEYING A -PORTION OF LOT 321 M. C.-CART-
WRIGHT SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, TO WILLIS W. THAMES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Elmo Beard, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to exe-
cute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a quit-
claim deed to Willis W. -Thames, conveying all of the City's right,
title and interest in and to the hereinafter described property:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of the
proposed twenty (20) feet wide easement, said
point being located east one hundred twelve and
five tenths (112.5) feet and south ten (10) feet
from the southwest -corner of Lincoln Terrace
First Addition to the City of Beaumont, Texas,
said point also being on the west line of Booker
Street.extended south;
Thence East parallel to and ten (10) feet perpen-
dicular from the south line of Lincoln Terrace
First Addition to -.the City of Beaumont, Texas, a
distance of six hundred (600) feet to a point in
the West line of Fourth Street, a thirty (30) feet
wide street, and in the East line.of Lot Thirty-two
of the M. C. Cartwright -.Subdivision to the City of
Beaumont, Texas, said point being the end of the
centerline of the easement herein described, said
point being located East thirty (30) feet, and
South ten (10) feet from the Southeast corner of
Lincoln Terrace First Addition to The City of Beau-
mont;
, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
