ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING THE
NORTH FIVE (5) FEET AND THE SOUTH -FIVE (5) FEET OF
THAT CERTAIN DRAINAGE DITCH EASEMENT ALONG LOTS
TWENTY_ONE� (21) AND TWENTY-TWO (22), BLOCK G, IDA
REED ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the north five (5) feet and the south five (5) feet of that
certain drainage ditch easement along Lots Twenty-one (21) and
Twenty-two (22), Block G, Ida Reed Addition to The City of Beaumont,
Texas, be, and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that
the title to such property shall revert to and become the property
of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law.
The City hereby relinquishes any and all right, title and
interest which it had or might have had in and to the above portions
of such drainage ditch easement, and reference is here made to the
record of the plat of the Ida Reed Addition to The City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, in Volume 7,,page 103 of the Map Records
of Jefferson County, Texas, for a complete description of such.

The City of Beaumont hereby expressly retains all.of its
right, .title and interest in and to such drainage ditch easement ten
(10) feet in width, being five (5) feet off of the -south line of Lot
Twenty-one (21) and five (5) feet off of the north line of Lot Twenty-
two (22), Block G, of said Ida Reed Addition.
PASSED by the City Council this 16th day of August, A.D. 1955.
