WATER CONTROL AND IMPROVEYL.�NT DISTRICT NO.. SE'T,LN` AND
PROVIDING FOR EXECUTION OF SAID'. CONTRACT UPON VALIDATION
UR APPROVAL _ OF $44-9, u0G BONDS OF SAID -DISTRICT AS.
PROVIDED BY LAW.
Ir,IHLRZAS, Jefferson County Water Control and Improvement
District No'.' Seven is in the process of issuing $.+4:5, OOO---of
bonds for the purpose of constructing a waterworks system for
said District; and
WH_,REAS, said District wishes to purchase water from the
City of Beaumont, and negotiations have been undertaken by officials
of said CitsJ and said District; and
agreement has, been reached as to the terms and
l x ovisions of said contract; and
1°�Ii:rcAS, the City Council wishes to authorize the execution
of such contract by the appropriate city officials; THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
S_-ction is That for and on behalf of the City of Beaumont, the
City Manager and the City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the contract, a copy of which'is attached

marked exhibit "A", which contract is made a part
of
this
ordinance
as if copied herein.
SECTION 2: That said contract shall be so executed upon the
validation or approval of the $445,000 bonds of said District as
provided by law.
