BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMON`I`, TEXAS: That Section 1 of the above quoted captioned ordinance passed by the City Council on March 19, 1954, as the same was amended on April 29, 1.954, be, and it is hereby, amended and shall henceforth read as follows: Section 1. One-way Streets. It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person in charge of any motor or horse-drawn vehicle to drive same on any of the following described portions of the following named streets except in the direction specified, when signs indicating the direction of traffic are erected and main- tained at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction is prohibited: (a) N. Pearl Street - From its intersection with U. S. 90 Freeway to its intersection with Calder Avenue; traffic to move in a southerly direction only. Pearl Street - From its intersection with Calder Avenue o i-s.in exsection with Blanchette Street; traffic to move in a southerly direction only. Orleans Street - From its intersection with Franklin Street o its intersection with Willow Street; traffic to move in a northerly direction_,only. Willow Street - From its intersection with Broadway St. to its intersection with Park Street; traffic to move in a southerly direction only.. Park Street - From its intersection with Willow St. to its -intersection with Milam Street; traffic to move in a southerly direction only. Forsythe Street - From its intersection with Trinity Street to its Intersection with Main Street; traffic to move in an easterly direction only. Fannin Street - From its intersection with Main Street to its intersection with Trinity Street; traffic to move in a westerly direction only. Bowie Street - From its intersection with Neches Street to its intersection with Main Street; traffic to move in an easterly direction only. Crockett Street - From its intersection with Main Street to its intersection -.with Neches Street; traffic to move in a westerly direction only. -2- Liberty Avenue - From its intersection with Eleventh Street o its intersection with Main Street; traffic to move in an easterly direction only. Laurel Avenue From its intersection with Orleans St. to -its intersection with,Eleventh Street; traffic to move in a westerly direction only. Broadway Street - From a point 135 feet east of its ink rsec ion with Willow Street to its intersection with Willow Street.;_ traffic to move in a westerly direction only. Broadway Street - From its intersection with Orleans Street to,_a point 85 feet.east of its intersection with Orleans Street; -traffic to move -in an easterly direction only. (b) Main Street - From its 'intersection df Blanchette to its in exsection with Calder Avenue; traffic to move in a northerly direction only. N._Main Street - From its intersection with Calder Avenue o i s intersection with Pine Street; traffic to move in a northerly direction.only. Pine Street - From its intersection with N. Main St. o its intersection with Miller Street; traffic to. move in a northerly direction only. Blanchette Street - From its intersection with Pearl Street to i.s in ersection with Main Street; traffic to move in an easterly direction only, - Walnut'Street - From its intersection I with Main Street to its intersection with Mulberry Street; traffic to move in a northerly direction only. - Pine Street From its intersection with Main Street o its intersection with Tevis Street-; traffic to move in a northerly direction only. Provided however that this sub -section (b) shall not become effective until July 1, 1955, or on the date ^of the official opening of Highway 90 Freeway from Neches River Bridge to Eleventh Street, which ever occurs first.
