AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND RATIFYING THE
ACTION OF THE CITY MANAGER IN EXECUTING.A
RIGHT-OF-WAY AGREEMENT ON MAY 25, 195+, UNDER
AUTHORITY OF A RESOLUTION PASSED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL ON MAY 25, 195+, BY THE TERMS OF WHICH
RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK
OF BEAUMONT WAS GRANTED THE RIGHT TO LAY,
MAINTAIN, OPERATE, REPLACE, CHANGE, OR REMOVE
A 14" STEEL UNDERGROUND CASING CONTAINING TWO
(2) 4" x 7" ALUMINUM PNEUMATIC TUBES WITH CON-
DUITS,UNDER THAT PART OF BOWIE STREET BETWEEN
ORLEANS AND PEARL STREETS, MORE PARTICULARLY
SET OUT IN SAID EASEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING AND
RATIFYING THE ACTION OF.THE CITY CLERK IN
ATTESTING SAID INSTRUMENT.AND AFFIXING THE SEAL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the action of the City Manager in executing, under authority
of the resolution passed by the City Council of The City of
Beaumont on May 25, 1954,.a right-of-way agreement to The First
National Bank of Beaumont, granting to said Bank for the con-
sideration expressed in said right-of-way agreement the right
to lay, maintain, operate, replace, change, or remove a 14"
underground casing, containing two (2) 4" x 7" aluminum pneumatic
tubes with conduit under that part of Bowie Street between Orleans
and Pearl Streets, as more specifically set out in said easement,
be and it is hereby, authorized and ratified, and the action of
the City Clerk in attesting said instrument and affixing thereto
the seal of The City of Beaumont be, and it is hereby, authorized
and ratified.
