FOR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC;,PRESCRIBING A PENALTY OF A FINE
OF ANY SUM -NOT -TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00)
FOR VIOLATIONS; AND REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
Section 1.
One=way Streets. It shall hereafter be unlawful for
any person.in charge of any motor or horse-drawn vehicle to drive
same on any of the following described portions of the following
named streets except in the direction specified, when signs
indicating the direction of traffic are erected and maintained
at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction
is prohibited;
Main Street - From its intersection of Blanchette to
its intersection with Calder Avenue; traffic to move
in a northerly direction only.
N. Main Street - From its intersection with Calder
Aven-4e to its intersection with Pine Street; traffic
to move in a northerly direction only.
Pine Street -- From its intersection with N. Main St.
to its intersection with Miller Street; traffic to move
in a northerly direction only.
N. Pearl Street - From its intersection with U: S. 90
Freeway to its intersection with Calder Avenue; traffic
to move in a southerly direction only.
Pearl Street - From its intersection with Calder Avenue
to its intersection with Blanchette Street; traffic to
move in a southerly direction only.
Orleans Street - From its intersection with Franklin
Street to its intersection with Willow Street; traffic to
move in a northerly direction only.
Willow Street - From its intersection with Broadway St.
to its intersection with Park Street; traffic to move in
a southerly direction only.
Park Street - From its intersection with Willow St. to
its intersection with Milam Street; traffic to move in a
southerly direction only.
College Street - From its intersection with Trinity St.
o its intersection with Main Street; traffic to move in -an
easterly direction only.
Wall Street - From its intersection with Main Street to
its intersection with Trinity Street; traffic to move in
a westerly direction only.
Forsythe Street - From its intersection with Trinity Street
to its intersection with Main Street; traffic to move in
an easterly direction only.
Fannin Street - From its intersection with Main Street to
its intersection with Trinity Street; traffic to move in a
westerly direction only.
Bowie Street - From its intersection with Neches Street
to its intersection with Main Street; traffic to move in an -
easterly direction only.
Crockett Street - From its intersection with -Main Street
to its intersection with Neches Street; traffic to move in
a westerly direction only.

Liberty Avenue - From its intersection with Eleventh
Street to its intersection with slain Street; traffic
to move in an easterly direction only.
Laurel Avenue - From its intersection with Orleans St.
to its intersection with Eleventh Street; traffic to move
in a westerly direction only.
Blanchette Street - From its intersection with Pearl
Street to its intersection with Main Street; traffic to
move in an easterly direction only.
Walnut Street - From its intersection with blain Street
to its intersection with Mulberry Street; traffic to
move in a northerly direction only.
Pine Street - From its intersection with Main Street to
its in ersection with Tevis Street; traffic to move in a
northerly direction only.
Broadway Street - From a point 135 feet east of its inter-
section with Willow Street to its intersection with Willow
Street; traffic to move in a westerly direction only.
Broadway Street - From its intersection with Orleans
Street to a point 85 feet east of its intersection with
Orleans Street; traffic to move in an easterly direction
only..
Cypress Street - From its intersection with Main Street
to its intersection with Hickory Street; traffic to move
in a northerly direction only.
Section 2.
Penalty. Any person, firm, association, partnership
or corporation violating any of the terms hereof shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof at the
Corporation Court of The City of Beaumont, shall be fined in
any sum not..to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
Section 3.
Repealing Clause. All ordinances and/or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed;
provided, however, that in the event of such conflict this
ordinance shall repeal only such section or sections of such
ordinances directly in conflict herewith, and shall not affect

the remaining sections, which said remaining sections shall
continue in full force and effect.
