AN ORDINANCE
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET
FOR -THE -WATER DEPARTMENT OF.THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1954.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of The City of Beaumont
has submitted to the City Council a budget estimate of the
revenues of the Water Department of said City and the ex-
penses of conducting the affairs of said Department for
the calendar year 1954; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received said City
Manager's estimate and is of the opinion that same should
be approved and adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the budget estimate of the revenues of the Water De-
partment of The City ofBeaumont and the expenses of con-
ducting the affairs thereof for the calendar year 1954 as
submitted to the'City Council by the City Manager of said
City be, and the same is, in all things adopted and approved.
PASSED by the City Council this the 5th day of
January, A. D., 1954.
