AN ORDINANCE
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE -60-1
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT MAKING
IT UNLAWFUL TO PLACE OBSTRUCTIONS ON SIDE-
WALKS; PROVIDING FOR EXCEPTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That Article 60-1 of the Code of The City of Beaumont
be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
Article 60-1. It shall be unlawful for any person,
in any manner, to obstruct the use by pedestrians of any side-
walk in the city by placing thereon any boxes, material,ve-
hicles, or other objects whatever; provided, however, when it
may appear to be to the best interest of the public generally,
the City Manager of The City of Beaumont may, by written per-
mission, authorize the placing of certain objects on the city
sidewalks.
