ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER
OFFI-CIALS-OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DE-
LIVER FOR. AND ON BEHALF OF THE. CITY OF. BEAUMONT A
QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING APPROXIMATELY 3935 SQUARE
FEET OF.LAND ABUTTING.THE NORTH LINE OF EMMETT AVE-
NUE, THE EAST LINE OF LAND STREET AND THE SOUTHERLY
LINE OF BLANCHETTE STREET, AS NOW ESTABLISHED, IN
THE NOAH. TEVIS SURVEY IN.THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEF-
FERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO CHARLES GENARO, FOR THE
SUM OF $125.00..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:

That Otho Plummer, Mayor, be, and he is hereby authorized to
execute -and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a
to Charles Genaro
quitclaim deed/ conveying all of the Cityis right, title and in-
terest in.and to the hereinafter described property, for a con-
sideration of One Hundred Twenty -Five ($125.00) Dollars:
A tract of land abutting the north line of Emmett
Avenue, the east line of Land Street, and the
southerly line of Blanchette Street, as now estab-
lished, in the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, and more particularly described as follows,
to wit:
Being a portion of that tract of land in the Noah
Tevis Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
purchased from -Walter K..Burks by deed recorded
August 8, 1932, in Volume.369, Page 340, Deed Rec-
ords, Jefferson County, Texas, said portion being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the east
line of Land Street with the north line of Emmett
Avenue as they are now established, said point be-
ing on the east line of Land Street, as established,
through the Langham Addition produced north forty-
six (46) feet from the south line of Emmett Avenue;
Thence north along the said east line of Land Street
as now established thirteen and sixty-five hundredths
(13.65) feet, more or less, to the southerly line
of Blanchette Street as now established;
Thence in a northeasterly direction along the south-
erly line of Blanchette Street as now established
one hundred seven (107) feet, more or legs, to the
east line of the tract..herein described 'or the east
line of above-mentioned tract purchased from Walter
Burks;
Thence south along the east line of said tract here-
in described or the east line of above-mentioned
tract purchased from Walter Burks eighty-four and
w
fifty-three hundredths (84.53) feet, more or less,
to the north line of Emmett Avenue as now estab-
lished, said point being forty -six -(46) feet north
of the south line of Emmett Avenue;
Thence west along the north line of Emmett Avenue
as now established eighty and fifteen hundredths
(80.15) fest, more or less, to the place of begin-
ning;
The above described tract contains 3935 square
feet, more or less;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
