QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING APPROXIMATELY 5306 SQUARE
FEET ABUTTING.THE NORTHERLY LINE OF BLANCHETTE
STREET EAST OF.THE UNITED GAS.CORPORATION PROPERTY,
OUT OF THE.NOAH.TEVIS SURVEY IN THE CITY OF BEAU-
MONT JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO GEORGE D. SWITZER
FOR. $10.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Otho Plummer, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a
quitclaim deed to George D. Switzer, conveying all of the City's
right, title and interest in and to the hereinafter described
property, for a consideration of Eight Hundred Ten ($$10.00) Dol-
lars:
Being the portion of that tract of land in the
Noah Tevis Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, purchased from Walter K. Burks by deed re-
corded August $, 1932, in Volume.369, Page 340,
Deed Records, Jefferson County, Texas, lying in
the northerly side of Blanchette.Street as now
established immediately east of the property of
the United Gas Corporation and south of the prop-
erty of Belle Blanchette; the tract of land under
consideration being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly
line of Blanchette Street as now established with
the east.line of the property of the United Gas
Corporation;
Thence north along the east line of the property
of the United Gas 'Corporation one hundred one and
eight tenths (101.$) feet, more or less, to the
south line of the Belle Blanchette tract;
Thence east along the south line of the Belle
Blanchette tract one hundred four and twenty-five
hundredths (104.25) feet, more or less, to the
northerly line of Blanchette Street as now estab-
lished;
Thence in a southwesterly direction along the
northerly line of Blanchette Streetl s now estab-
lished one hundred fifty-three (153) feet, more or
less, to the place of beginning; -
The above described tract contains 5306 square
feet, more or less;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
