AN ORDINANCE ✓
VVV Establishing base lines and harbor lines on Brake's_
Bayou in the Harbor of the City of Beaumont extending from
t o %La� line of Magazine Street to a point opposite the
mouth of Brakets Bayou, as shown and marked on blue print
map on file in -the office of the City Clerk, entitled
"PROPOSED HARBOR LINE, OF BRAKES BAYOU", dated "l-�8�23%
and prescribing a penalty;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the base lines and harbor lines, as shown on blue
Print map on file in the office of the City Clerk, entitled
"PROPOSED HARBOR LIE OF BRAKES BAYOU", 'dated Irl -.8-23'T, be
aif the same are hereby established and fixed as the base
lines and harbor lines along Brakes Bayou from a point opposite
its mouth on -either side to* the east end of • lagazine Street;
the. base line on the southwest side of said: portion of Brakes i
Bayou running from -a point on the southeast• side_ of Magazine_
Street near its intersection with Travis Ztreet southeasterly
to a. point . opposite the. mouth of Brakes. Bayou; the harbor 1 line
on the southeast side of-4rakes Bayou running fifty feet (5

northeast of and parallel with said base line; the harbor line_
on the northeast side of said Brakes :Bayou running parallel with
and two hundred feet (200 1) northeast o•f the southeas harbor
line, leaving a two hundred ft. (2001) channel; and the northeast
bad"e line running parallel with and fifty feet (50T) northeast
of 1-a% the northeast harbor line, all as shown and marked on
said blue print map on file in the office of the City Clerk. �
Section 2'. 1
Hereafter all construction and improvements of every
character within the area covered by this Ordinance shall be
made in accordance .with and to confarm to the base lines and
harbor lines established in Section 1 hereof, so as to leave
a to hundred ft. (2001) channel unobstructed by any such
construction or improvements.
Section 3,
A
Any person, firm or corpo-ration, or their officers, agents
or employes violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be
punished- by a fine in any- sum _not to exceed_ 0100. 00 Each &.q7-

Ordinance shall constitute a separate offense and be punishable as
such.

AN ORDINANCE
Establishing basa lines and harbor lines on Brakes. Bayou
in the Harbor of the City of Beaumont extending from the east
line of Ma�azina' Street to a point opposite the mouth of Erakas
Bayou, as shown and marked on blue -print* map on file in the
office of the City Clark, entitled "PROPOSED HARBOR LINE OF
BRAKES, BAYOU", dated 111-8-23 n; and prescribing a penalty;
BE IT ORD. DYED BY 'THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the base lines and harbor lines, as shown on blue

Saction 2.

Hereafter all construction and improvements of every

construction or improvements.
Section 3.
Any person, firm -or corporation, or -their officers, agents
or employes violating the provisions of this Ordinance shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be
punished by a fine in any sum not to ekeeed $100.00. Each day
any construction or improvement shall remain in violation of
this Ordinance shall constitute a ser,axate offense and be
punishabla as such. - -
