AN ORDINANCE
i?rohibiting the pumping, pplacing or depositing of oil
into the harbor of the City of $eaumont, or into any sewer or
drain running into said harbor, or alar of its tributaries; and
prescribing a penalty;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIkMISSION OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT .

That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation, or their officers, agents or employes to pump,
place or deposit oil into the harbor of the City of Beaumont, or
into any sewer or drain running into said harbor or any of its
tributaries.
Section 2.
Any person, firm or corporation, or their officers, agents,
or employes violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction,
-shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $100.00. Each day's
violation of this ordinance shall constitute a spearate offense,
and shall be punishable as such.
