AN ORDINANCE.
Authorizing the vacating and closing of the alley
located in Block No. 43, Calder Addition to the City of
Beaumont.
WHEREAS, all of the lots and land in Block No, 43,
Calder Addition to the City of Beaumont is owned by the
Board of Trustees of the Beaumont Public free Schools, which
property has been acquired for school purposes; and
WHEREAS, such Board of Trustees has petitioned the
City Commission to have the alley located in said Block No.
43 vacated and closed; and
WHEREAS, it would be detrimental to the public interest
and a dangerous hazard to pe:cmit such alley to remain open
on such school property;
NOW, . THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:-
That the alley located in Block No. 43, Calder Addition
to the City of Beaumont be and the same is hereby authorized
and ordered to be vacated and closed, and that the title to
such alley_ shall become the property of the Board of Trustees
of the Beaumont Public Free Schools, the owner o the land in
said block.
