Repealing an Ordinance passed on the 19th clay of
September, A.D. 1922, authorizing a loan of T"? ENTY THOUS �+.i,TD
DOT, LARS 020,000.00) for wharf and dock purposes.
4HE LAS, on the 19th day of September, A.D. 1922,
an ordinance was passed by the City Commission of the City
of Beaumont authorizing the expenditure of T'!':ENTY TUOUSA D
DOI,ZtaRS (; 20;000.00) for permanent wharf improvements, and
authorizinE and directing the City Manager to negotiate a
loan for the sura of T4ENTY TUOUSAUD DOLLARS 020,000.00)
from various banks in the City of Beaumont, and.
f,._ t+REAS, such loan has not been consummated and
is deemed by the City Comission no longer necessary sitzc_e ,
the issuance and the sale of the Wharf & Dock Bonds of the
City of Beaumont.
NO'ii:19 THEREFORE, BE IT 0'_RD AETED BY T=,- CITY
001d-USSION OF T1 -1E CITY OF BE2_DIJONT:
That the aforesaid Ordinance mentioned in the
preamble hereof, passed on the 19th day of September, A.D.
1922, be and the same is hereby repealed.
This Ordinance shall tale effect from and after
its passage.
Passed by the affirmative vote of all members of
the City Commission this 12th day of December, A.D. 1922.
