HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 30-DAN 0 F NONCE Requiring lots`, blocks, or streets laid off within the city limits of the City of Beaumont to conform with existing lots`; blocks:, or streets of the City; the submission = of a map -and -plat of any proposed sub -division to the City Commission for approval before such map or plat is adopted or recorded; prescrib- ing a penalty for the violation thereof;.re- pealing all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith', and declaring an emergency': BE IT OTIDAZiNED BY THE CITY COTGTISSION OF TUE CITE'' OF BEAWONT : Section It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person', association of persons,.firm or corpora- tiori, his', its or their agents, officers or employes. to.lay off any blocks, lots or streets within the limits of the City of Beaumont without baving same conform, as near as practicable, with rrevioullaid out blocks, lots, and streets of .said City`, Section 2': Noy a_p person, association of persons, firm or corporation, his, its or their agents, officers or employe^hereafter lay off any blocks, lots, or streets..within the limits of the City of Beaumont li'lithout first having submitted a correct map. of same to the City Commission for approval, a.nd such map shall not be adopted or recorded, nor shall such lots, blocks or streets be laid out until a correct map -thereof -is approved by the City Commission. r� Section 3. Any person, association of persons, firm or corporation, his, its, or their agents, officers or employes who shall violate any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not less than x$''5.00 no -r more than 200.00. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed ire immediate necessity of requiring systematic conform- ance pith existing streets the laying out of additional streets creates an imperative public emergency necessitating the suspension of the rule requiring ordinances to be read on three separate days before passage, wherefore, such rule is hereby suspended and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
