ORDINANCE,
For, the : suppression of Lewdness within the ,City - of -Beaumont;
Defining; the .term "LeWdnes$"; presoribing .penalties for the violation
of the terms hereof.; providing" that the invalidity of a part -shall
not invalidate".,all of. -said ordinance; repealing, all ordinances and
parts of ordinances in" conflict herewith;.
BE IT..ORDAINED BY THE CITY. COMMISSION'-0F':THE-CITY_0FBEA-UM0NT:
Section 1.
That, it shall hereafter be unlawful for any' person or persons
to enter or remain in,, any place", structure, or building, in the"
city of Beaumont for the purpose' 'of. lewdness. .y
-Section II.
That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any person or. persons "
to. commit any act of lewdness, as same,_ is •hereinafter defined, in
any place, structure, or building in the city of Beaumont.
Section 'III.
The .term "Lewdness" as .used in Sections One 'and Two hereof '
�- - is_ "hereby-defined--to-mean;'-�:any_�aot of 'arcourse-bet seen
persons who are not" -then .and. there lawfully marriad..to- each other.
'Section Iii.. '
Each act of lewdness prohibited in Sections; One and Two"
hereof "shall constitute a . separate offense, _ and. -be punishable
as such.
S.'ecti on .V.
Any person violating any of the provisions of" this,
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be-fined'in any sum -not exceeding
One�'Hundted ( $100.00) Dollars.
Section Vl.
All ordinances. and. parts of ordinances in conflict
u herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
