BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION

Section 1�
That the tax of thirty-eight cents on each 1,100'.'00
valuation on all taxable property within the city limits of the
City of Beaumont'. heretofore levied and ordered collected by an

hereby apportioned among the various interest and bond sinking
funds as follows,. -

That the City Tax Assessor and Collector is,hereb7
instructed to pro -rate the saidsumof thirty-

according to the provisions of tiis ordinance,
and to so present his statement and report to the Director
of Department of Finance that said off - icer may be able to
plan all collections made under said tax to the credit of the
proper fund and that the same may not be diverted or used for
any other purposes*

That all laws andparts of laws in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed in so far as they conflict with
this ordinance.

The
:The fact than no apportionment bas been made of the thirty-
eight cents ($,38) levied to p rovied for the interest and sinkinp
fund for the bonded indebtedness of the City of Beaumont`; creates
an imperative public emergency necessitating the suspension of the
rule requiring ordinances to be read at three separate meetings
before their passage, wherefore said rule is suspended and this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after is

passage and signature of the Mayor.
