ENT ITL_ ED an ordinance changing the -name of Dumpsey
Street.to Grand Avenue and providing that the ordinance
shall take effect from -the date of its passage.
WHEREAS, the citizens residing on and along -
Dumpsey Street in the City of Beaumont :.ave petitioned
the`City Commission to change the name of said street, t.
AND VffiEREAS, Dumpsey Street is a continuation of
Grand Avenue ,
AND",_V1HEREAS the Commission know no valid reason why
the name of said street -should not be changed- to Grand
Avenue:
N0W _ UfEREFORE , BE :IT O RDAF NED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF- THE CITY- OF BEhMOM :
Section 1.
That. the name of Dumpsey Street in the City of
Beaumont be, ._and it is hereby- changed. to Grand Avenue,
and from anal after date of the pas�age of this ordinance
the name of said street shall be Grand Avenue.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall- take effect and be in farce
from and after the date of its passage.

of all members of the Commission.
