WHLREAS, the citizens resid'ing on. *and along
Summerfield Street in the City of Beaumont have petitioned
the:City Commission to change -the name of said street to
Avenue. E, and no dissent from said "petition or other
opposition to'such change has been filed or otherwise
brought to the attention of the Commission and the
Commission know no'•valid'reason why the name of said
street should not be changed as requested..

COTQAISSION, OF THE CITY OF BEALUAONT:
Section, .1.
That the name of Summerfield Street in the City
of Beaumont be, and it is hereby changed to' Avenue -E, .-and
from and after the date of the passage of this ordinance
thename of said street shall be Avenue E.
Section .2.
This ordinance shalltake effect and be in force
from and after the. date. of its passage.
