Ali ORDINANCE
Entitled,"An Ordinance Creating and Establishing all of
the Offices provided for in the Charter of the Ci-ty of
Beaumont,'adopted on the 30th. day of December, A. 17. 19199
and: Declaring an Emergency on account of the Necessity fivr,
the immediate Creation and Establishment 'of said Offices,;
so as to. Provide for the usual daily @peration of the
----- Departments established by the aforesaid Charter,*and all

'•BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE CITY COMU SSI ON OF THE CITY OF BEAUMOET :
Section 1.- That all: of the administrative offices of every
description, and all other offices provided for in the
Charter of the City of Beaumont, adopted on the 30th. day
of December, A. D. 1919, be and they are hereby created and
established,.and from and after the taking effect of this
act, every such office provided for' -in said Charter shall
exist, the same as if the said offices provided for in said
Charter were enumerated and specified.
Section 2.- The fact that it is necessary that said offices
be created and established by ordinance of the City Commission,
in order that the departments established under said charter
of the City of Beaumont, and all of the branches of the
government of sa.id,city may function, and it .being necessary
for the usual,daily operation of.said departments and the
branches of said government that said .offices be forthwith
created and established by',ordinance of the Commission, necessitat-
ing , the suspension of the rule requiring ordinances- to be ready
at three separate meetings, the said rule is hereby suspended
and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and signature of the Mayor.
