THAT that certain fifty foot (501) wide right of way described

BEING a right-of-way 50 feet in width as shown
in a re -plating of Block Number 36 and Block
Number 38 of Van Wormer Second Addition in the
Noah Tevis Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson County,
'texas, said map being recorded in 1933 in Book
Number,5, Page 194 of the Map Records of Jef-
ferson County, Texas and said right-of-way being
more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument in the East
right-of-way line of 13th Street and the North
right-of-way line of the Southern Pacific Rail-
road right-of-way;
THENCE North with the East line of 13th Street
60.44 feet to an iron stake for corner;
THENCE South 55°46' fast 246.30 feet to an iron
stake for corner;
THENCE South 89034' Bast 356.10 feet to an iron
stake in the West line of Sawyer Street;
THENCE South with said )Pest line 50 feet to an
iron stake locating the Northeast corner of Block
Number 38 of said Van Wormer. Second Addition;
THENCE North 89°34' West with said North line
371.60 feet to an iron stake in the North right-

THENCE North 55046' West with said right-of-way
line 227.3 feet to the place of beginning,
be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, and that title

It is the intent of this Ordinance to abandon the said
fifty foot (501) right of way but to retain the two (2) fifteen
foot (151) general utility easements For general utility purposes
only; title to such property, other than the rights retained by
the City of Beaumont herein, shall revert to and become the
property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law.

A RIGHT-OF-WAY FIFTY (50) FEET IN WIDTH BETWEEN
BLOCK NUMBER 36 AND BLOCK NUMBER 38 OF VAN
WORMER SECOND ADDITION IN THE NOAH TEVIS SURVEY,
PROVIDING THAT TWO (2) FIFTEEN (15) FOOT WIDE
GENERAL UTILITY EASEMENTS ARE RETAINED, TO THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
