BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute an Earnest Money
Contract with Ken Whitlow, Trustee for the sale of a 0.6244 acre tract of land located at
the 700 block of Laurel Avenue for a cash offer of $95,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute all documents necessary for the sale of the property and improvements.
The meeting at which this resolution was approved was in all things conducted in
strict compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter
551.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
December, 2018.
