ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING GULF STATES
UTILITIES COMPANY TO PLACE IN EFFECT NEW AND
REVISED RATE SCHEDULES, TO WIT: REVISED
SCHEDULES 202, 301, 301-H, 301 -TC, 321-T, 4ol-T,
401 -B -T, 404-T, 405-T, 412-T, 440-T, 445-T,
4504T 455-T, 46o, 509, 5007'S, 501, 503, 510,
520, AND 530,AND NEW SCHEDULES 120 AND 150
EFFECTIVE AS OF METER READINGS MADE BY SUCH
COMPANY ON AND AFTER May 1, 1958
WHEREAS, Gulf States Utilities Company on , 195, has
requested authority to substitute Revised Schedul 202, 3 1, 301-H, 301 -TC, 321-T,
401-T, 401 -B -T, 404-T, 405-T2 412-T, 440-T, 445-T, 450-T, 455-T, 46o, 500, 500-S,
501, 503, 510, 520, and 530 respectively, for the then currently effective Schedules
202; 3011 301-H, 301 -TC, T
321, 401-T, 401 E -T, 404-T, 405-T, 412-T., 440-T, 445-T,
450-T, 455-T, 460,.500, 500-S, 501, 503, 510, 520,.and 530 and for authority to
establish New Schedules 120 and 150. Such Revised Schedules 202, 301, 301-H, 301 -TC,
321-T, 4ol-T, 401 -B -T. 4o4 -T, 405-T, 412-T, 440-T, 4454 450-T, 455-T, 460, 500,
500-S, 501.,'503, 510, 520) and 530 and such New Schedules 120 and 150 have been
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Beaumont, and approved by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS
Section 1.
That Gulf States Utilities Company is hereby authorized to place into effect as to
readings made by it on and after Yhy 1, 1958 , of its customers' meters
located in Beaumont, Texas, Revised Schedules 202, 301, 301-H, 301 -TC, 321-T, 4ol-T,
4o1 B -T, 4o4 -T, 405-T, 412-T, 44o -T, 4454, 450-T, 455-T, 460, 500, 50o -S, 501, 503,
510, 520, and 530 and New Schedules 120 and 150 which Revised and New Schedules have
heretofore been filed by Gulf States Utilities Company with the City of Beaumont
and Gulf States Utilities Company is further authorized to discontinue, upon said
New and Revised Schedules being placed in effect, its previously effective Rate -
Schedules 202, 301, 301-H, 301 -TC, 321-T, 401-T, 401 -B -T, 4044, 405-T, 412-T,
440-T, 445-T, 450-T, 455-T, 460, 500, 500-5, 501, 5031 510, 520, and 530.
Section 2.
That nothing in this ordinance contained shall be construed in any manner now or
hereafter limiting or modifying the right and power of the City Council under the
law to regulate the rates charged by Gulf States Utilities Company for its services
within the City of Beaumont.
