DONING.OF A STREET-OR ALLEY ABUTTING LOTS 5 AND
6, BLOCK 12 OF THE AVERILL ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by the owner-of all of,the
property on the street or alley abutting,Lots 5 and 6,"-Block 12."
of the Averill Addition to The City of Beaumont,, "has been pre--
sen.ted ,to the City. Council of The "City of Beaumont,requesting
that this portion. of said. street or alley be vacated and aban-
doned; 'and,'
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that it is to
ihe'best interest 'of The.City of Beaumont and benefit to the'pub-
-- li-c that the above -mentioned-por-tion-..of.,_said .-street. or alley_be
vacated and abanonded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE-'IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the street or alley abutting. Lots 5 and 6,'' Block. 12 of the
Averill Addition-to Th'e City of-Beaumont be, and the .same is'
hereby, authorized to be vacated and.abandoned,'and that all ease-
ments heretofore existing upon,',this portion of.said street or
alley are hereby released and extinguished, and that the title to
said portion of said va cated and abandoned street or alley shall
revert to and become the property of the party entitled thereto,
as provided by law.
