AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION
ORDINANCE," ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE ENSUING
FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 11' 1957 AND ENDING
JUNE 301 1958, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CHARTER OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT; APPORTIONING THE FUNDS OF
THE CITY OF BEAUMONT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS,,the City Manager of The City of Beaumont has
submitted t� the City Council a budget estimate of the revenues
of said City and the expenses of conducting the affairs thereof
for the ensuing fiscal year, beginning July 1,-1957 and ending
June 30, 1958, and which said,estimate has been compiled from
detailed information.obtained from the several departments,
divisions ,and offices of the City, containing all of the infor-
mation as required by the -Charter of The City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has received said City Manag-
er's estimate and is of the opinion that the.same should be
approved and adopted as.required by the Charter of The City of
Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY. THECITY OF
BEAUMONT,TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the budget estimate of the revenues of The City of
Beaumont and the expenses of conducting .the affairs thereof for
the ensuing fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1957,and 'ending June
30, 1958,,as submitted to the City Council by the -City Manager.
of said City, be, and the same is, in all things adopted and
approved as the budget estimate of all of the current expenses.
as well as the fixed charges against said City for the fiscal
year beginning the 1st day of July, 1957 and ending the 30th day
of ,June, 1958.
