AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED TO ROBERTS
AVENUE METHODIST CHURCH, QUITCLAIMING THE CITY'S
INTEREST IN THE NORTH FINE (5) FEET OF A 20 -FOOT
WIDE ALLEY IN BLOCK 83 -OF THE CARTWRIGHT ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON -COUNTY, TEXAS,
WHICH SAID ALLEY WAS CLOSED BY ORDINANCE PASSED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE .13TH DAY OF DECEMBER,
1955.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor Pro Tem be, and he is hereby authorized to execute
and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a quitclaim
deed, quitclaiming to Roberts Avenue. Methodist Church all of the
City's interest in and to the north five (5') feet of the alley
in Block 83 of the Cartwright Addition to the.City of'Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said alley was closed by ordinance
passed by the City Council on the 13th day of December, 1955;
and the City ;.Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto,
1955.
