CLOSING OF A DEAD -END STREET .BETWEEN BLOCKS 9 AND ;
10 OF THE COLUMBUS CARTWRIGHT . ADDITION IN- -THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS..,
WHEREAS-; a.petition signed by Parsons &,Norman,'the sole
owners of the property' abutting, ori a - dead --end street between
Blocks:9'and 10 of the Columbus Cartwright Addition, which extends
south from Milam' Street 523 feet. and.dead ends -at --Block 21- of
College.Acres Extension Addition,.. has., been 'presented to.the City;
Council of The City of Beaumont,,request.ing that that portion of
,..said dead-end'.stre.et be vacated and abandoned;.and,
WHEREAS,_ said petition has been.--referred-to the City -Plan-
ning Commission for examination -and approval, and the same has
been approved by said.Commission;.and,..
WHEREAS, said petition has been duly canvassed and.examined
by.theCity Council-.and:has-been found to have been signed by the .
sole owners of said property abutting said dead-end street between
Blocks .9 and- 1.0. of the Columbus Cartwright Addition, and it appear.-
ing to the City Council that the request.of said property owners
should be, granted and -that an ordinance should:be enacted vacating.
and abandoning the above-described portion of said street -

MONT, TEXAS: -
That the Dead-end Street between Blocks 9 and 10.of the Columbus
Cartwright Addition, which extends -south from Milam Street 523
feet and dead ends 'at Block 21 of College Acres Extension' Addition,.
be, and the same is hereby, authorized to be vacated and abandoned,
and that the title to such vacated and abandoned street should,re-
vert to and become the property of..the parties entitled thereto,
as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council. this.*.22nd day of November, A.D.

Street between Blocks 9 and 10 Of the Columbus
Cartwright Addition.
This street extends South from Milani Street 523
feet and dead ends at Block 21 of College Acres
Extention Addition.
The undersigned ownes Blocks 9 and 10 of Columbus
Cartwright Addition and Block 21 of College Acres
Extention Addition; being all the land abutting
this street.
This is a request of the City Council to close
this unnamed dead-end Street.
The purpose of closing this Street is to enable us
to replat the area in an Addition to Eleventh
Street Place; this proposed Addition has received
preliminary approval.
