HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2-NAN ORDINANCE ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO ENTER INTO A FIVE-1'EAR LEASE CONTRACT WITH THE TEXAS HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF TEXAS ON CER- TAIN PROPERTY SITUATED IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT AND BEING A PART OF THE FAIR GROUNDS.PARK,.AND CANCEL- ING ANCELING ALL PRIOR LEASE CONTRACTS BETWEEN SAID PARTIES, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: That the City Manager be, and he hereby is author- Ized to enter into a certain lease contract, a copy of which is attahed hereto and by reference made a part hereof for all purposes, for a period of five (5) years with the Texas Highway Commission of the State of Texas covering certain landisituated in the City of Beaumont and being a part of the Fair ark Tract, said land being fully described in said lease.
