McDowell & Davidson, and adopted by the City Council the 7th day of February A.D. 1912. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Beaumont. SECTION # 1. That article 855 of Chapter 16 of the Revised Code of Ordinances codified by Messrs. McDowell and Davidson-, abd adopted by the City Gouncil of Beaumont, on the 7theday of February 4.,.D. 1912, be amended so that it shall here read. as follows: Article 255. NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE SHALL GOVERN. No electrical wiring or installation or electric apparatus or appliances for furnishing lights, -heat or power shall be intrO.duced into or placed in any building or structure in the 1 City o f Beaumont except in compliance with the rules and regulapions of the National Board of Fire Underwriters, gnown I as the "National Electrical Code" as adopted in 1902 and all amendments and changes or revisions made or that shall hereafter be made to said "National Electrical Code". Prodded that all wiring used in the wiring of new buildings or in the re- wiring of old buildings , in the installation of wires in olkd` buildings or additions thereto, except minor alteratiors or extensions on existing systems in the fire limits of the Cily of Beaumont, when said wiles are concealed. ;'_: must be placed in approved metallic conduits.
