of Chapter.33 of the -Revised Code of Ordin-
ancesof the City of Beaumont,. adopted Feb=
ruary 7th; A:D., 1911.
BE -IT ORDAINED BY THE' -CITY COUNCIL .OF THE .CITY OF BEAUMONT: "
-Section' 1. "
That Article 461 of..Chapter 33, -Revised Code of Ordinances
of the City of Beaumont, as adopted. February 7th, A.D. ,1.911 be
amended so .that -it shall hereafter read as follows:
Article 461. . No uncovered, composition,
resin, felt .or' wood ,work shall, in any way, be exposed on any
roof or appendages w=ithin' the, fire limits,: except such as
are accepted.as standard by''the NATIONAL BOARD OF FIRE UNDER-
WRITERS.-
Section 2. _
The .i act that the. above article now. existing is
indefinite and hazy as to construction, and the construction
of -certain buildings being retarded creates a necessity and
emergency for the -passage of this ordinance, and the rule
requiring or 6,finances to be '_ read at three separate' -meetings
be -and is hexeby-suspended and this ordinance shall go into -
force and effect from and after_ its passage, and lawful
publication.
