BE IT ORDAIM BY THE CITY" COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OF BEAUMON'2 Section le That from and after the first day of lanuary, A. D. 19121 it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, either as principal or their agents, servants or employees, to manufacture ice cream for the purposes of sale within the City of Beaumont, without having first obtained from the City Health Officer of the City of Beau- mont a permit so to do. Section 2. To obtain such permit, the applicant shall, present to the said City Health Officer a written application, upon a farm to be furnished by the said- City Health Officer, ,and shall fill therein the name and residence address. -of said applicatn, the place where he intends . to manufacture ice cream for the purpose of sale. Before any perms* shall be issued by sff health officer, -the premises -where the--a,pp1c;�nt intend -s3 to manufacture his ice cream, ahall:be inspected by the Health Officer or someone under his direction, and unless the parties applying for the permit .can shove h -i—_- strict compliance with the requirements hereinafter set out, no permit to engage in sad business shall be issued., The said requirements are, as follows: 1. The ice cream plant must be properly screened. i -Y2. 2. The floors, walls and ceilings must be sanitary, 3; The -water -closets and.urinals must be separate from the plant, An.. The. room used for mixing cream 'must be. close' . ceiled, properly 'ventilated and screened, a.n d with no m, sanitary surroundings or neighborhood* 5.
