HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 51-AOki 01 51 A 1 _ AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ARITICLE 7667 OF THE REVISED CODE OF ORDINANCES ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ON THE 7TH DAY OF FEBRUARY RELATING TO NUMBER OF CONDUCTORS AND MOTORMEN UPON STREET CARS, AND THE RATE OF SPEED SAID CARS MAY MOVE IN THE CITY OF BEAUMO.NT . BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of—Beaumont., that Article 7.67 of t:he Revised Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont a s: passed on the 7th day of February, A. D., 1911, be amended so as to hereafter read as follows: - "No street car shall be propelled or run at a greater rate of speed than fifteen miles per hour within any portion of the following prescribed limits, of the City of Beaumont., t o -wit : - The entire length of Pearl Street and from Pearl Street to Park Street on College Street, and Pearl Street to Park Street on Milam Street, and at no greater rate of speed than twenty miles per hour within the corporate limits not herein- above described, and no car shall be propelled - at. greater rate of speed than five miles per hour around any curve at street corners within the corporate limits of the City of Beaumont."
